Hilda is a Research Assistant at the Impossible To Possible Lab in the Rancho Research Institute. Her work focuses on neuromodulation and activity-based rehabilitation for individuals with spinal cord injury and cerebral palsy. Her work integrates transcutaneous spinal stimulation, assistive neurotechnology, and intensive rehabilitation to improve motor control and functional recovery. She also supports home-based locomotor training programs and provides advanced in-home neurological care for veteran with spinal cord injury. Her interests also include assistive neurotechnology, human–robot interaction, and innovative rehabilitation approaches for neuromuscular recovery.
