Restoring Function After Spinal Cord Injury
Spinal cord injury (SCI) survivors often face lifelong challenges with mobility, independence, and quality of life, as current rehabilitation approaches offer only limited recovery. Our team is pioneering the use of non-invasive transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation (tSCS), which delivers electrical stimulation through the skin to re-engage dormant neural pathways and enhance motor function. Unlike traditional therapies that focus solely on compensating for deficits, tSCS works by activating and retraining the body’s own sensorimotor networks.
Our vision is to restore independence, reduce disability, and advance rehabilitation science through innovative, evidence-based approaches.
